The 2026 FEMISE Annual Conference aims to facilitate dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders in the Mediterranean region. The event will be held in October 2026 (exact date and location to be announced soon).

This year it will be held under the theme: “Navigating Disruptions and Transitions in the Mediterranean: Policies for Resilient, Innovative and Inclusive Economies.”

Researchers working on relevant socioeconomic issues in the Euro-Mediterranean are invited to submit their concept notes in the framework of this Conference by the 20th of May 2026.

What’s FEMISE?

FEMISE, Forum Euroméditerranéen des Instituts de Sciences Économiques (the Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Institutes of Economic Sciences), is a Euromed network established in Marseille, France in June 2005 as an NGO (under the French Law of 1901), following 8 years of activities. The network gathers more than 100 members of economic research institutes from the North and South of the Mediterranean, representing the 37 partners of the Barcelona Process and the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP).
