Towards Barcelona + 25. Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation And Partnership

As part of the launch of the MedCat 2030 Mediterranean Strategy of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the future commemoration of the Barcelona Declaration of 1995, a series of debates are organized on the Mediterranean partnerships, trends and reflections by Catalan institutions, under the impetus of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The IEMed is organizing one of these debates, entitled “Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation and Partnership”, which aims to set out the trends in the region, identify the challenges to be addressed and set out priorities, recommendations and instruments for the action of institutions and the government of Catalonia.
In addition, the IEMed also hosts two workshops dedicated to different initiatives promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya that target Mediterranean youth. Specifically, a session on the project “Empowerment of young women in the Mediterranean through the social and solidarity economy” (of the Catalan Youth Agency) and the debate “Young Mediterranean voices” promoted in the framework of the preparatory work for the Morocco Plan of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
