Presentation of the 32nd issue of the magazine Quaderns de la Mediterrània “Art and creativity: bridges of intercultural dialogue”, which highlights the importance of building bridges of dialogue in the Mediterranean, a dialogue that we recognize as intercultural, where processes and results are full of mutual references despite painful conflicts found between the two shores.
This act focuses on the importance of creating spaces where connection ties are established, questioning the public space, and practicing exchange and creation as stated by the authors participating in this issue. Many of the authors of this publication are artists or members of associations who share their experience in creative processes and promote the expansion of spaces for exchange and dialogue.
Art and culture are essential elements for the cooperation and development of societies in the region, however, they have been aggravated during the pandemic and there is a need to continue promoting the cultural sector and claim that culture is an essential service for the well-being of the citizens of the Mediterranean region.
