The MedCat Day 2025 is devoted to “Barcelona Process, 30 Years on: a Multi-stakeholders Outlook from Catalonia. Laying the Foundations for the New Pact for the Mediterranean” taking place on 9 July 2025 in Barcelona.
The event is organised by the Government of Catalonia, the European Institute of the Mediterranean, and the Representation of the European Commission in Barcelona.
This event brings together the second edition of the EU Investments in Strategic Projects: An Outlook from Catalonia conference and the sixth edition of the MedCat Days. It will be an opportunity to reflect on the region’s prospects considering the EU’s new Pact for the Mediterranean, and to highlight Catalonia’s leadership in the Euro-Mediterranean area, particularly in the context of the 30th anniversary of launch of the Barcelona Process.
