The Euro-Mediterranean Guarantee Network (EMGN) builds on EU and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) institutional frameworks with the aim of supporting the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and access to finance as an important target of the EU’s cooperation with the Southern Mediterranean countries. Bringing together Euro-Mediterranean credit guarantee schemes (CGS), EMGN disseminates knowledge, supports the development of CGS, and advocates closer cooperation between SEM countries, CGS and the EU.
