Countering Polarisation, Dehumanisation, and Radicalisation driven by the Middle East Conflict” brought together over 200 participants from 33 countries, including civil society organisations, policymakers, and thought leaders from across the Euro-Mediterranean region, and was aimed to:

Bring together civil society actors for fact-based and inclusive exchanges on the problem of polarisation, dehumanisation and radicalisation driven by the conflict;
Reaffirm the crucial role of civil society in preventing our societies from being driven apart;
Highlight the dangers of treating its polarising effects in isolation;
Discuss cooperative ways to overcome divisive zero-sum thinking, counter information manipulation, and promote solution-oriented narratives based on shared values.
