Presentation of Política Exterior and tribute to Josep Piqué

The latest issue of the journal Politica Exterior, to be presented in Barcelona, is dedicated to exploring the forthcoming world, taking into account the significant shifts in geopolitics observed across the globe, with a particular focus on Europe and the Mediterranean region.
Titled “El mundo que nos viene” (The World That Is Coming), the event in Barcelona serves not only as a presentation of the magazine in Barcelona but also as a tribute to Josep Piqué, the former director of the journal who passed away in 2023.
Senén Florensa, Executive President of IEMed, and co-director alongside Piqué of the magazine afkar/ideas (co-edited by IEMed and Politica Exterior), will also participate in the presentation debate in Barcelona alongside Jaume Lanaspa, President of the Club of Rome’s Office in Barcelona. Participants include Cristina Gallach, former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean, and former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations; Javier Parrondo, Director General of Casa Asia; and José M. de Areilza, Director of Politica Exterior and professor at ESADE. The discussion will be moderated by Ángeles Espinosa, a journalist and former correspondent in the Middle East.
