National Legal Framework for Migration and Asylum in Tunisia
27 March 2025. From 18:30 | Conference | French | IEMedIn the lecture, we will explore the Tunisian national legal framework in the field of migration, as well as the state of migration cooperation between Tunisia and the European Union, highlighting both its limitations and recent operational advances. In this context, we will question whether the promotion of human rights within the EU has been accompanied by the protection of the rights of migrant people. Furthermore, we will examine the role of migration issues within the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, where, in practice, a security-focused approach prevails.
