International Workshop on Agroecological Transition in the Mediterranean

The workshop “Agro-ecological Transition: Contributions of Regenerative Agriculture and Ecological Restoration in the Mediterranean”, an initiative funded by AECID within the framework of the Masar Al’an Programme, is organised in Barcelona by CREAF and IEMed.
The event brings together around thirty experts from across the Mediterranean region, including representatives from FAO, CIHEAM, Institut des Régions Arides (Tunisia), INRA (Morocco), Berytech (Lebanon), WANA Institute (Jordan), IRTA, CRSTRA, MedWaves, MedCities, the Government of Catalonia, Beta Centre, CSIC, among others.
This is the first of two workshops focused on regenerative agriculture and soil ecological restoration in the Mediterranean. Its main goal is to produce working documents that will serve as a foundation for future initiatives in this key area for sustainability
