Anna Lindh Forum
4 March 2010- 7 March 2010 | Conference | BarcelonaBarcelona hosts the first edition of this forum which, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of the Anna Lindh Foundation (FAL), brings together in Barcelona more than 500 members of the different national networks that make it up. The will is to make a consensual balance of these first five years and to issue proposals that can add a social dimension to the Union for the Mediterranean. The forum is organized in two spaces. On the one hand, the agora, with different plenary sessions and workshops dedicated to reflection with experts and actors on the milestones and obstacles relevant to the institutional development of social and cultural cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean region. On the other hand, the Medina, consists of a fair with multiple stands of social networks and organizations, sessions of presentation of good practices, information sessions, spaces for the presentation of projects and other spaces self-managed by the members of the FAL .
The aim is to discuss proposals to promote cultural dialogue and cooperation in the Mediterranean and to transfer the final conclusions to the Union for the Mediterranean summit scheduled for Barcelona in June.
