8 June 2020 | Corporate news
The main network of think tanks in politics and security in the Mediterranean, EuroMeSCo, coordinated by the IEMed since 2010, inaugurates a new chapter with the project “Connecting the dots”, co-financed by the European Commission and the IEMed.
Considered the seventh best network of think tanks in the world, EuroMeSCo will focus on analyzing and establishing relationships on cross-cutting issues in the Mediterranean, such as economic development, migration and security. It will do so by involving all the actors (experts, professionals, institutional and political leaders …) with a strong commitment to amplify the voice of young people and increase the participation of women in the network.
The main objective is to provide research, dialogue and support that can contribute to the definition of the most appropriate policies for the Euro-Mediterranean region in the areas of study of the project. The project will be implemented from 2020 to 2024 by the IEMed in cooperation with a consortium of 11 other think tanks and research centers, within the framework of EuroMeSCo. The network currently has 104 institutes and research centers from 29 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean area and the new chapter begins with a new graphic image.
