Work functions
You will work with a digital and off-line communications team creating content and updating the website, develop and distribute e-newsletters, and use other digital and social tools; contribute to the development and advancement of the digital media communications strategy, including social media outreach and online media contact cultivation; identify opportunities to develop op-eds; draft written materials as necessary.
Participation requirements
Who are the grants addressed to?
The grants are addressed to higher degree graduates who are nationals of one of the 43 countries of the EuroMediterranean region and who are under 30 years of age on the day of the publication of the call can be beneficiaries of these grants.
How to apply?
There are different ways to submit your application:
- At the IEMed headquarters (C/ Girona 20, 08010 Barcelona). Our working hours are from 9.00h till 16.00h on Monday-Thursday and from 9.00h till 14.30h on Friday.
- At any post office. Your application form and the documents be must be inside an open envelope so that it can be dated and stamped being registered. Once sent, please write an email to infobeques@iemed.org informing about it and attaching all the submitted documents. Candidacies received after the October, 26th 2021 with no email announcing them, will not be admitted.
- At any Spanish diplomatic representation or consulate or any delegation of the Government of Catalonia that have document registries. Please indicate the IEMed as addressee of the application. Your application form and the documents be must be inside an open envelope so that it can be dated and stamped being registered. Once sent, please write an email to infobeques@iemed.org informing about it and attaching all the submitted documents. Candidacies received after the October, 26th 2021 with no email announcing them, will not be admitted.
Please note that applications cannot be submitted by email.
Can I apply if I am about to graduate?
To be able to apply for the scholarships, you must have the title (or a certification of the university degree) at the time the application submission period closes, that is, on October, 26th 2021.
What languages are required in order to apply?
It is mandatory to know English and/or French in order to apply. The knowledge of these languages can ensure up to 25 points of a total of 100.
Is it mandatory to know Catalan?
It is not mandatory to know Catalan in order to apply, although it can ensure up to 5 points of a total of 100 points.
In which languages can I submit the documentation?
The documentation must be submitted either in Spanish, Catalan, English or French.
Mandatory documents
- A recent passport-size photograph with the forename and surname written on the back.
- Certified Photocopy of the Identity Card or passport.
- A document containing no less than two pages and no more than five pages in which the candidate explains the professional reasons, based on his/her knowledge, skills and interests, why he/she is applying for a training grant. If this document is not provided within the period allowed, the application shall be excluded from the call.
- A CV, enclosing with it all supporting documents that, in the applicant’s opinion, are appropriate. The supporting documents may be required a posteriori.
- Original or certified photocopy of the university degree or equivalent document of the academic record provided by the centre or institution where the candidate has studied.
- Certificate of the academic record or a copy of the academic record validated by the corresponding university, indicating, in both cases, the average weighted grade.
- Original or certified photocopy of the certificates indicating the candidate’s proficiency in English, French, Spanish and Catalan.
- A letter of reference, dated no earlier than one year prior to the application, supporting the candidate’s suitability for obtaining one of the training grants included in this call.
- Statement of not having been dismissed from the service of any of the public administrations
- Statement of not having received another grant of similar characteristics
