Call for Papers – FEMISE 2024 Conference

The Call for Papers for the FEMISE Annual Conference 2024 is now open!
It targets researchers who are working on socioeconomic issues in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Selected applicants will be invited to the conference in Cairo on 10, 11 and 12 December 2024 in Cairo (Egypt) to present their work and will be remunerated upon delivery of the expected outputs.
Papers submitted for consideration must be aligned with the FEMISE 2024 Conference theme “The Euromed Partnership as a Catalyst for SDGs: Advancing Value Chains, Climate Action, Digital Transformation, and Youth Empowerment”.
In this context, the four following topics are proposed.
Topic 1: Accelerating Sustainable Value Chain in the Euromed Region through Digital Transformation
Topic 2: Accelerating Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability in the Euromed region
Topic 3: Fostering Social and Territorial Sustainable Development in the Euromed Region
Topic 4: Empowering Mediterranean Youth: The Catalyst for an Integrated Euromed Region Achieving SDGs
To submit proposals, 2 documents should be presented:
- A detailed concept note for the research paper
- The CVs of the author(s)

The FEMISE Annual Conference 2024 is co-organised by the Economic Research Forum and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed).

What’s FEMISE?
FEMISE, Forum Euroméditerranéen des Instituts de Sciences Économiques (the Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Institutes of Economic Sciences), is a Euromed network established in Marseille, France in June 2005 as an NGO (under the French Law of 1901), following 8 years of activities. The network gathers more than 100 members of economic research institutes from the North and South of the Mediterranean, representing the 37 partners of the Barcelona Process and the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP).
