The work is an initiative of the Al Fanar Foundation, which has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed); Collective Against Islamophobia in Belgium (CCIB); Media Diversity Institute; NOOR Foundation; European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) and the Spanish Observatory on Racism and Xenophobia (OBERAXE).
How do we identify and disarticulate an Islamophobia that appears transversally in many areas of society? Organized by the Al Fanar Foundation and in collaboration with the IEMed, the colloquium “Disarticulate Islamophobia” serves to listen to the diagnosis they make and the measures proposed by both representatives of the European Commission and the Spanish government and entities of civil society and groups of journalists.
