Brakes and Obstacles to Women’s Economic Autonomy

By promoting the meeting of researchers from various Mediterranean countries specialized in similar topics, this seminar facilitates the dissemination of existing research projects and strengthens the links of a community of researchers with a common understanding on current issues related to gender equality. It also serves to strengthen the capacities of young researchers in the field of research methodologies on gender and women.
The initiative is part of the project “Strengthening the capacities of actors working for gender equality”, led by the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation and which at the same time is part of the broad program ” Femmes d’avenir en Méditerranée “, financed by the Social Priority Fund of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the French Government.
