Awards ceremony in Barcelona of the “A Sea of Words” literary contest

The authors of the 10 best stories of the 15th edition of the youth literary contest “A Sea of Words” are in Barcelona to take part on the 25th and 26th of November 2022 in several activities in the city.
For instance, a creative workshop at the Sala Beckett (a center for theatre-related creation, training, and experimentation) where the awards ceremony is also taking place and the three best short stories of the edition are to be announced.
The young would-be writers, coming from Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Italia, Jordania, Montenegro, Palestina, Siria, and Tunisia, are also joining cultural activities such as the concert on the occasion of the celebration of Mediterranean Day.
The 15th edition of the literary contest received 45 short stories from youths of 25 different Euro-Mediterranean countries.
The “A Sea of Words” contest is co-organised yearly by the IEMed and the Anna Lindh Foundation. This year’s edition was devoted to the role of youths in pushing forward gender equality.
