The IEMed contributes to the promotion of dialogue between cultures and civilisations establishing bridges of mutual understanding between the two sides of the Mediterranean. It fosters the participation of European civil society, cities and regions in the process of construction of a Euro-Mediterranean space of freedom, security and prosperity as a determining factor for the governance of the Mediterranean.

afkar/ideas is aimed at Maghrebian and European readers with a modest yet ambitious objective: to contribute ideas to bring those living on the two sides of the western Mediterranean closer.
Quaderns de la Mediterrània seeks to publicise the reality of the Mediterranean in current events such as migration, shifting values and the sociological, economic and political processes of the peoples that inhabit it and to be a forum of debate on the intercultural future of our societies.
