The
Mediterranean yearbooks of the two last years
are now available online at www.medyearbook.com.
Edited by the IEMed and the CIDOB
Foundation,
the yearbooks examine the most important
events and trends which took place during
the last two years. About a hundred international
authors participated in each yearbook, and they analyse the events from different perspectives
and with a wide range of data and information
in charts, graphics and links to other websites.

magazine afkar/ideas analyses African
immigration in its last issue
The tragedy of the immigrants who arrive to the
Canary Islands and the debate that this has created
between all stakeholders to assure the safety of
immigrants and the development of African countries
make up the central dossier of the current issue
of the magazine afkar/ideas.
Moreover, the magazine includes articles on human
rights and social values in Morocco, the national
reconciliation in Algeria, the transformation
of the economies of Morocco and Algeria and the
economical experience in Tunis 50 years after
its independence, as well as articles on tourism,
architecture, gastronomy and art in the Maghreb.
