Development of policy cooperation between Mediterranean countries and the European Union, as
well as their growing social and economic interdependence, will be the main issues discussed at
the 4th Euro-Mediterranean Energy Forum, to be held in Barcelona from March 11th through 13th,
2009.
This Forum will be jointly organised by Club Español de la Energía and European Institute of the
Mediterranean, supported by relevant institutions like Observatoire Mediterranéen de l’Énergie and
sponsored by major energy companies in the Mediterranean area.
The 4th Forum will consolidate our regional meeting place for energy producers and consumers,
where the main objective is in-depth discussion or our industry's major concerns, such as guaranteed
supply, stability of demand and sustainability in the Mediterranean area, now a strategic participant
in a comprehensive global energy vision.
